About this site

This site keeps a record, merchant by merchant, of how they have mistreated customers. Each record says what happened and shows the merchant’s own words and the screenshots.

There are no scores, no rankings and no star ratings. Read the timeline, look at the screenshots, and make up your own mind.

What gets recorded

It has to be a specific incident: when it happened, how it unfolded, who said what. “This provider is bad” is not enough.

It has to come with something that can be checked: emails, tickets, chat logs, announcements or public posts, with screenshots and links.

What the merchant said is quoted as written, in the original language, unedited. Any translation is only there to help and comes after the original.

High prices, slow speeds and late ticket replies are ordinary service-quality complaints. They are not recorded here.

Who writes the records

Most records are written by the customer involved, in the first person, and include the author’s own opinions. The page says so. Before publishing, the screenshots are checked against the text; the text itself is left as written.

A few records are put together by the site from public information. Those are labeled too.

How screenshots are kept

Every screenshot is stored in this site’s own repository, not on an outside image host, so it survives if that host goes away. Where each image originally lived and the day it was saved are listed at the end of every record.

If you are the merchant, or you found a mistake

Email sa@catcat.blog.

A merchant’s response is added to the record in full.

If something is factually wrong, send material that can be checked. Once it is verified the record is corrected, with a note of what changed and when.

A record is not deleted when the matter is settled. It is marked as resolved, with the outcome.

Languages

Every record is published in Chinese and English. The merchant’s own words stay in the language they were written in.
